Buchu Leaves refers to a plant originated in Southern Africa and it was used for anointing bodies. These leaves are smooth and perennial shrubs that are purplish brown in color and are in 2 to 3 feet height. They bear flowers in pink or white color. It is principally used to cure irritable conditions in the urethra and inflammation in the bladder. Buchu is useful in treating rheumatism and gout.
